DevOps & Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled DevOps & Cloud Engineer to manage application deployment, cloud infrastructure, automation, and production operations across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and private/government cloud environments. The role will involve deploying and maintaining Odoo ERP and custom-developed applications, managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, servers, networking, security, monitoring, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities​

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain applications across AWS, Azure, and private/government cloud environments.

  • Manage Development, QA, Staging, UAT, and Production environments.

  • Deploy and maintain Odoo ERP and custom-developed applications.

  • Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines

  • Manage automated application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

  • Manage application deployments using Docker and Docker Compose.

  • Administer Linux/Ubuntu servers and application infrastructure.

  • Configure and maintain Nginx, SSL/TLS, DNS, reverse proxy, and load balancing.

  • Manage cloud resources including compute, storage, networking, databases, and related services.

  • Configure IAM/RBAC, security groups, secrets, certificates, and access controls.

  • Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance and availability.

  • Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.

  • Manage backups and support disaster recovery activities.

  • Work closely with development and QA teams to support application releases.

  • Maintain infrastructure, deployment, and operational documentation.

  • Ensure production environments are secure, stable, and reliable.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure & System Engineering.

  • Practical experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services

  • Strong Linux/Ubuntu administration skills.

  • Good experience with Docker and Docker Compose.

  • Good knowledge of Git and source control.

  • Experience with Nginx, SSL/TLS, DNS, and reverse proxy configuration.

  • Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, firewall, VPN, routing, VPC/VNet, and subnets.

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases.

  • Knowledge of cloud security, IAM/RBAC, secrets management, and access control.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Additional Skills

  • Experience deploying and managing Odoo ERP.

  • Experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or private Kubernetes environments is an advantage but not mandatory.

  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible.

  • Experience with AWS ECR, Azure Container Registry, AWS RDS, or Azure managed databases.

  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar monitoring tools.

  • Experience working with private cloud, government cloud, or on-premises data centers.

  • Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V.

  • Understanding of high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.

  • AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications will be an advantage.

Job Location

  • The primary work location is Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Salary Information

  • An attractive remuneration package will be offered for deserving candidates.

  • The base salary will be determined based on the candidate's years of experience (DOE).
